Product Description
This sensual designer's creation of our brand features the "God of Longevity" pairing with a "Wulou inscribed with symbols Sau (Longevity) and Wufulingmen (5 Bats of Immortality)". An elderly, portly male with a uniquely large cranium, long ears and long drooping eyebrows (a sign of great age), typically holding a perfect peach is the Taoist God of Longevity, Lao Shouxing or just Shouxing (or Sau Sing Kung). The Star of Longevity is the ultimate symbol of longevity and uninterupted health. The Star of Longevity commonly holds a "giant peach of immortality" in his right hand, the powerful emblem for prevention and healing of diseases. The peach is also known as the fruit of immortality belonging to Si Wang Mu. In his left hand, he holds a walking stick with attached gourd which holds special life-giving elixirs. All this symbols conjure up wishes for the beneficiary's longevity. His figurine is thus a popular birthday motif for your parents or any elderly person wishing that they can live up to their ripe ages. The chinese regard him as the god that can prolong ones age. In Hong Kong, those who fall terminally ill will be prescribed by feng shui masters with Sau Sing Kung charms and motifs to increase the chances of surgery survivability and to prolong their lives.

On the other hand, the wulou simulates the abstract shape of "Dui Trigram". Symbolizing the role of a "heavenly doctor" according to classical feng shui, the "Dui Trigram" (made up of 2 male lines and 1 female line) is a strong diminisher against monthly ill winds, viruses and serious illnesses. Protecting the body from harm, it improves your immunity against frequent sicknesses and restores your health to its original state. It is also best worn to subdue harmful forces from sickness stars, such as by Illness Star #2 and Deadly Five Yellow. This benefits those who are sleeping or using rooms that are afflicted with such stars. Inscribed with the symbol of "wufulingmen" (5 Fortune Bats), it expresses the sentiment "wishing you good fortune". The reverse side of the pendant is inscribed with "Medicine Buddha Mantra". Medicine Buddha has unbiased compassion for all. He protects everyone from physical and mental sickness and other dangers and obstacles, and helps them to eradicate the three poisons – attachment, hatred, and ignorance – which are the sources of all illness and danger. Medicine Buddha not only helps in healing but also for overcoming the inner sickness of attachment, hatred, and ignorance. Thus Medicine Buddha can help decrease physical and mental illness and suffering. The Medicine Buddha mantra is held to be extremely powerful for healing of physical illnesses and purification of negative karma. Anyone who is stricken by disease can seek blessings from Medicine Buddha for curing. Equally powerful is another "Taoist Incantation of Good Health" that is inscibed behind the pendant to consecrate power onto the pendant. This pendant is extremely suitable to be worn by elderly partriach and martriach of the family to ensure they stay healthy at all times.

This stunning pendant is a divine cure against karmic illnesses, all forms of deadly viruses and possesses hopeful curitive properties against cancer. Health is true wealth. We cannot afford to fall sick because of many reasons. We need a healthy body to be able to free ourselves from bodily sufferings so that we can obtain better quality of life. Sau Sing Kung
The Star of Longevity "Sau Sing Kung" is associated to the star in the south pole. This star is often being symbolized by an oldman with protruding forehead, white hair and beard whom attained immortality. He normally carries a dragon crutch, a peach, the fungus of immortality ling tzi and the wu lou (gourd) which have medicinal values. Legend has it that the Star of Longevity began as the star Canopus in the southern constellation Argo, also known as the Old Man of the South Pole. People worshipped this and other stars in the belief that the heavens ruled human fate. "Records of the Historian", "Shi Ji", and important document of China's history written during the Han Dynasty (206BC-AD220), states, "peace prevails in the world when the Old Man of the South Pole appears, when he is not present, there is cause for great concern. He often impart virtues to people on the secret of longevity and ask them to avoid greed, negative thinking and arrogance as principles to sustaining longevity and good health. His magical peach is blossomed from the heaven only every 3000 years. His image represents good health and longevity. It is also said that this star god is the one who determines the length of human lives. His presence at home symbolizes granting of longer life by him. He brings good health, less sickness, longevity, immortality, smoother life for elderly people and good fortune in life.

What the Wulou symbolizes?
Wulou (bottle gourd) originates from a fruit. When dried, it is very durable and its shape render it useful as a receptacle for medicine. The Wulou was often carried by aged people as a charm of longevity and a charm to dissipate or ward off pernicious influences. The Wulou, like baguas and windchimes, is one of the most significant tools to cure many bad situations and enhance our Feng Shui. It is the powerful symbol of health and longevity. Many deities like the Sau Sing Kung (in 3 Lucky Stars Fuk Luk Sau), Li Tieh Kuai (in 8 Immortals) and Mad Monk God (Chai Kung) carry this excellent item with them to resemble their blessings to cure difficult ailment. Some said the shape of the Wulou is also a wonderful integration of heaven, earth and mankind. Deities and taoist monks even use the Wu Lou to absorb bad evil spirits into it for imprisonment. Therefore Wulou has the potency to absorb bad chi and negative energy.

The traditional use of calabash to cure Illness star is based on Yi Jing (I Ching). According to Eight Trigrams, the illness star#2 is a "kun trigram". And we know that changing the first and second lines of a trigram yields the Heavenly Doctor (Tien Yi). Changing first and second lines of "kun trigram"yields "dui trigram". One such abstract representation of the "dui trigram" is the shape of the calabash. The dried fruit also has a golden yellow color which could represent metal element.
